Post 1: Who am I?

Hi everyone who reads my blog.  My name is Montserrat and I am 18 years old. I am currently studying jounalism, I am in de second year of my career. Due to my studies, I am now living in Santiago, specifically in the commune of Ñuñoa where I rent a room. But the reality is that I lived in Coyhaique all my life. Coyhaique is a country located in the extreme south of Chile in the heart of patagonia.

The Aysen region is a quiet and peaceful place, don't have many inhabitants and it is characteristic for its bad weather and beautiful landscpaces. The truth is that doesn't look in Santiago for what it is. Is very big to move from one city to another. My family isn't originally from that region, but my parents decided to move there long before I was born.

Blog 1: A country I would like to visit

Hi everybody! In this publication, I am going to talk about a country that I would to visit. The country I want to refer to is Italy, because although I consider it very interesting to have the opportunity to know several countries in Europe, Italy is certainly a country that I don't want to leave aside. To begin with, I am very attracted by its landscapes and the geographic place in which it's located, since it's a peninsula surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, high and abundant mountains and hills, besides having many coastal towns. Not to mention the two large islands belong to the country.                                                                                           One of the cities that amazes me the most, is Venice, which is characteris...

Career related website

Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about the website that I enjoy visiting because it is closely related whit my career and that we are expected to know in order to study it. I study journalism, and at the time of studying it, there are not large number of subjects that we are asked to handle, even in some areas there are no subjects as such to pass.  However, there is something that is very important know, the information and news. Is for this I enjoy visiting La Tercera website. Is not the most objective media that exists in Chile, but is the very good media for information. The website is quite simple, it has different sections where anyone can enter and get information about the topic that interest for the person. Moreover, the text are written in a well structured way, which allows readers to understand the news easily.  It is good website, that is why I check it very often, maybe not every day as I shoud but at least four times a week.  https://www.later...

Time travel to the past

Hello everyone! In today's blog I will talk about the era I would like travel to, if I could travel back in time. For a class I had to do a paper on the social context that the country lived in the early 20th century, a period whit great influence of the United States and I researched about "The Roaring Twenties" and the "American Way of Life". As I did the work and read more about these years, I couldn't stop thinking about how much fun it would have been to live in the United States at that time. I would like to have live that, because of the way of life, because of rhe economic abundance that the end of the First World War left in the country. It was a decade of many social and cultural advance, mass production was encouraged, the development of the film industry and the great feminist movement that originated the historical context of the moment, is very interesting and I find it very entertaining to have lived. However, I think I would have liked to tr...
