Hello everyone!
In today's blog I will talk about the era I would like travel to, if I could travel back in time. For a class I had to do a paper on the social context that the country lived in the early 20th century, a period whit great influence of the United States and I researched about "The Roaring Twenties" and the "American Way of Life". As I did the work and read more about these years, I couldn't stop thinking about how much fun it would have been to live in the United States at that time. I would like to have live that, because of the way of life, because of rhe economic abundance that the end of the First World War left in the country.
It was a decade of many social and cultural advance, mass production was encouraged, the development of the film industry and the great feminist movement that originated the historical context of the moment, is very interesting and I find it very entertaining to have lived.
However, I think I would have liked to travel lived that little time in the 1920s and nothing more. Because before that it was the First World War and after that, the economic depression of '29 and the Second Word War.
Other time I would like travel to are 1960 also in United States and the hippie movement, the French revolution or the Industrial Revolution, because of the great social changes that those times meant.
What is clear to me, is that it scares me to think about traveling to the future. Because I don't think it will be a very encouraging future for humanity.
It would be wonderful to be able to experience historical events as they are happening.
